Picnic

This is an Annual Event which is held in the winter months when the Children Take Part in arranging and preparing for an Outdoor Party. From assisting the facilitators in preparing the list of activities to the preparation and serving of yummy eatables to the layout of sitting arrangements outdoors the Merrylanders all participate actively. This fosters team building, coordination and execution skills very early in the young and ever enthusiastic minds.

Park Visit

A visit to the Park is an outdoor activity which is again undertaken during the winter-spring time of the year. It is something which is huge confidence building activity for the Merrylanders They learn to bond with facilitators and fellow Merrylanders and are taught to learn to distinguish between friends and strangers which helps them to develop individual confidence in their outings and exploration of new places. Sighting of animals in the zoo and identifying common plants and trees inculcates in them a sense of peaceful co-existence and importance of appreciating our environment and help protecting it.
